  • Hey Suz, Well I'm not trying to divert blog traffic from the others but there were people who asked about contacting me so thus this!
Yep, I'm bringing skirts. I don't do shorts! I loved your request for a suite from RR, I'm quite sure you'll get a timely positive response....not!

  • Glad you got your info up and
running!!! I'm 14 years in recov
ery and loving my life freedom
    from the bottle...and feel good
    abouthelping at least 3 other
    friends through their own recoveries!!!

I really admire what you're doing...
Can't say enough good things about
the role you're playing in peoples
lives who are struggling with their
    demons!
I'm on teen patrol with my addictive
personality son, helping him work through
    his own pulls toward substances.
So far, we're ahead of the struggle..
Why I can't trot off with SB.

It's fun to watch from the side lines
though and imagine how it will
    all play out.

  • Hi Sunni, thanks for stopping by! I have good friends in OR, lived there for the last 4 years until I could no longer take the lack of sunshine.
I have my stuggles with addictive prone boys as well...so hard to watch. Although they are very proud of me, they refuse to see any problem with themselves. Hate to think of the being "out there" until they reach my age, yikes!
Wish you could join us at the beach!

  • Delighted to hear from you Mary Rose! I'll call you tomorrow.
This bachelor journey is turning into a journey of a different sort for me...as I am receiving lots of e-mail on the subject of addiction. I LOVE how people come into our lives for a reason.

  • Linda,

    From rainy Oregon...'wiggy' !!!
    I figure I've got 3 more years
then I'll be joining you in AZ.
I've got to get my boy to 18 first,
    then I can move.

I love AZ... my Granny was a snow
bird spending her winters in a little
casita in Tucson. We used to visit
her every winter, so I have AZ in my
blood. I used to paint desert land-
    scapes, but now only faces
in the tropics...I'll post a few
    images.

  • CHI-TOWN girl: My sentiments exactly! I spent much of my life trying to control the outcome of situations/relationships. I now live my life from a place of knowing that there is a big plan, people come into our lives for reasons that aren't always apparent at the time, and MY vision of the outcome isn't always right on. Yes, we are exactly where we are supposed to be!

  • Coach & Suzan: thanks for stopping by! I'm not really the "it" blog, I usually post on clickgirls but thought I would at least start a little somethin here.
Suzan: I DID hear that you are joining us in MB but I was sworn to secrecy until you made the big announcement...look forward to meeting you!

Stay tuned for info on the nannynannybooboosisterhood.com website that I have under construction....

  • Suz: Thanks for the heads up, I'll bring my earplugs!
I have been ISP challenged and am finally getting my DSL today, so I'll be working on the site this weekend. Just too frustrating to try and do it w/a dial up.

  • Linda I'm so glad you got your blog going. I've been so busy this past week with my course but am taking today and tomorrow off. Went to aquacises this morning, off in a minute to massage therapy and then to get my hair done later. Tomorrow I'm going to the wedding of a "younger" colleague from my school. Sunday I'll be working on my final assignment. Glad you've had some response to your other website. I'm sure you'll be a great help to those who need you. Looking forward to meeting you (in Quartzsite, I believe now - right?)

  • Cat: Thanks so much for actually reading through my nutribriety website...it's not for everyone, obviously but that is so cool that you "get it".

  • hi linda, i made a comment last week about being addicted to the blogs and being a blog junkie. i was kidding on the one hand, and serious on the other because it was consuming me. u responded that some addictions are ok. sometimes when i read, it's like i can hear the persons's voice tone speaking those words. those few words really did help me, more than u know.

but what i really want to say here is i didn't know u used to have an alcohol addition, and i certainly hope i wasn't offensive or insensitive to u or anyone. u probably don't even remember but as i'm vising your site and reading comments, i just wanted to say that.
